Yes. You are an authorized agent, independent contractor, sole proprietor, or freelancer and are responsible for your own taxes. STAR Telecommunication Inc. does not take any taxes out on your behalf. Each employee would receive a 1099 at the end of the year if you made $600 or more. Furthermore, you are not eligible to receive unemployment, overtime or benefits as authorized agents, independent contractors, sole proprietors, or freelancers. Consult a tax specialist to go over what you can write off and what deductions you can take.
You must legally reside in the United States and must be 18 years or older. You can provide your services from anywhere that is open to new applications. If you move, you can bring your work with you! How many jobs can you say that about?
Applicants from the following states are not accepted: California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, and Wisconsin. In addition, Arise currently does not support the provision of services from USA-owned territories such as: Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Micronesia, Palau, Guam, Midway Atoll, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
STAR Telecommunication Inc. is a legitimate work-from-home opportunity. There are thousands of small businesses and their contractors who have enjoy providing virtual call center services. STAR is an independent company that works on the Arise platform, providing skills and resources to support the client's contracts through Arise. Top companies are outsourcing their call volume through Arise Virtual Solutions. Arise then outsources to companies like STAR to find the people that are working from home and connect them to the clients in need of services. You certify for the company you choose to provide your services to and start taking inbound customer service calls from your home. It is all computerized, so you basically log into your computer and into the client's systems and the calls come directly into your phone line! You answer the phone as if you are in a call center! Customers are happier because they can speak to someone that they can understand, and it gives people that cannot work outside the home or need flexibility an opportunity to be in business for themselves and make a living!
It all adds up! You do not have to spend extra on work clothes or put makeup on. It truly is an amazing opportunity. It is simple: you must be self-disciplined and motivated, and you also must have some working knowledge of computers and technology (to a degree). Think of it as your own call center at home. You choose who you provide services for, and the pay rate is based on the client you choose. You choose how much you work, full time or part time. You manage yourself and can do it in your PJs!
An investment in your own business, your office equipment, and setup (desktop computer or laptop, landline, headset, internet access, etc.). Certification Course for the client you choose starts at $0 up to $289. These fees are paid to Arise Virtual Solutions, not STAR.
STAR Telecommunication Inc. does not pay for the time spent in a client certification course. We are the middleman between our partner's clients and the Authorized agents, Independent Contractors, Sole Proprietors and Freelancers working from home. As an Authorized agent, Independent Contractor, Sole Proprietor or Freelancer, you are responsible for any certification needed that is required to educate yourself to properly provide your services to the client.
There is a platform usage fee of $19.75. Only when you are actively servicing a client will this fee come out your earnings. This fee supports the 24/7 technical support for Arise and the client you are servicing.
Your compensation can be as little or as big as you make it. You choose the client that you want to service. Some choose their client for the compensation rate only. Some choose a client because they are open 24/7, and some choose a client that is super easy with less hourly pay. You set your own schedule and choose when and how much you work. Your paycheck is up to you! We have team members making between $200 to $1300+ bi-weekly!

Purchase a USB headset for your chosen certification class. This is a headset that plugs into your computer.
Purchase a headset that can plug into your telephone. Cordless phones are not accepted.
Have or prepare to have a land-line telephone with no features or a digital phone line through your cable or internet company before certification class ends.

The admissions process takes as little as 1 day. Once you complete the admissions process and join STAR's team, you then choose a client certification course. Realistically, it may be around 30 days before the class starts. Classes are typically around 20 days, but some are self-paced and can be completed in a matter of hours. Once certified you can start working immediately. Depending on how quickly you choose a class, it can take up to 2 months. As a self-employed contractor, you are in control of when and how much you work. Choose a client that has a contract that meets your needs. If you need to provide your services only during the daytime or would like a client that is open 24/7, you can choose to do so.
Yes. Once you are registered and become part of our team, you will see all job opportunities as they hit the portal. This way, all you must do is decide if the client is a right fit and enroll into the class. Otherwise, you run the risk of a missed opportunity due to classes filling up fast.
